Heavenly Hooves Classes


All classes are one hour and include 3-4 participants.

We operate on a semester shcedule similar to school systems. Like schools, we assume continuous enrollment between the fall and spring semesters for self-pay and Gardiner Scholarship students (WellCare/MTM students are limited to 10-lesson blocks annually). You may choose to “withdraw” for a semester, but unless notified, we will automatically re-enroll you into the next session.
 
We offer Spring and Fall A/B semesters and a shorter summer semester:
  • Fall semester A is 10 weeks (Aug-Oct).
  • Fall semester B is 5 weeks (Oct-Dec, with break over Thanksgiving week).
  • Spring semester A is 10 weeks (Jan-Mar).
  • Spring semester B is 10 weeks (Mar-May, with break over Osceola County Spring Break week).
  • Summer semester is 5 weeks (July-Aug).

The cost is $45/hour, which is $900 for Spring A/B semester (20 lessons), $675 for Fall A/B semester (15 lessons), or $225 for Summer semester (5 lessons). 

Self pays receiving McCormick scholarships are charged a rate of $25/hour, which is $500 for Spring (20 lessons), $375 Fall A/B semesters (15 lessons), or $125 for Summer semester (5 lessons).

WellCare (or any MTM policy) students are only covered for half of an A/B semester (10 lessons) at a rate of $45/hour. If these students wish to ride for the other half of the semester, they will be billed as self-pay students at a rate of $25/hour with a McCormick scholarship. WellCare (or any MTM policy) students ride twice a week in the Summer semester to meet their 10-lesson block.

Tuition Payment Schedule and Policies


Upon enrollment, you will be sent an invoice for the entire semester tuition. Unless you have paid in full or withdraw from the program, you will be sent a monthly tuition invoice with the first payment due on the 1st of the month when your classes begin.
 
Students will only be enrolled in the summer semester upon request. However, self-pay and Gardiner Scholarship students will be rolled automatically from Spring to Fall and Fall to Spring unless they withdraw.
 
Payments can be paid in full at the beginning of the semester or, for the fall, payments can be made in 1/4 tuition installments by September 1st/or enrollment date, October 1st, November 1st, and December 1st.  For the Spring, 1/5 installments will be due by January 1st/enrollment date, February 1st, March 1st, April 1st, and May 1st. Summer tuition is due by July 1st.

 

Attendance Policy


Our organization incurs an expense of over $250 per class hour provided regardless of the number of students who attend the class. While student fees sometimes cover a maximum of $100 of that $250 expense, we must still supplement the expense with fundraising efforts.
 
We kindly ask that you contribute your complete semester fee regardless of occasional absenteeism. Adherence to this policy enables us to continue to provide service and maintain sustainable programs. Our classes now regularly reach full participant capacity. If your child can't regularly participate, we will need to assign the class spot to another person on the waiting list.
