If you're over the age of 14 and love working with horses or have a heart for children and adults with special needs, then becoming one of our volunteers may be the perfect way for you to make a difference in the lives of many. We highly value our army of volunteers and hope to provide you with a meaningful and memorable experience while serving at McCormick Research Institute.

Group Volunteers
We welcome corporate or groups of any kind to participate with us on special projects. Please contact our volunteer manager to make us aware of your availability or to inquire more about opportunities for volunteer groups.
Individual Volunteers
Individual volunteers can participate in a variety of areas, including groomer, stable help, sidewalker with a student during lessons, horse leader, or special events assistant. We offer a multi-step training program and responsibilities for people with all levels of experience. Becoming a committed volunteer connects you to a special community and comes with many rewards.
